Thor and Thor 2 both directed by Alan Taylor and produced by Kevin Feige. Thor was at first a challenge as Branagh who directed the first Thor wanted to see how the audience reacted towards the film. Fortunately, it became a success to produce a second one.

Cast 

The cast of Thor 2 continues with the original cast from the first film. Main actors such as Chris Hemsworth who plays the character of Thor. Natalie Portman who plays Thor’s love interest called Jane Foster. The character of Loki played by Tom Hiddleston who is Thor’s adopted brother and enemy.  Anthony Hopkins who plays the character of Odin who is the king of Asgard. Also he is the father of Thor and adoptive father of Loki. Stellan Skarsgard who acts as Dr. Erik Selvig who plays Foster's mentor and fellow scientist. Idris Elba as the character Heimdall, who is the eyes and ears Asgardian sentry of the Frost Bridge. Christopher Eccleston as Malekith The ruler of the Dark Elves of Svartalfheim. Those are only just a few who play a big role in the film.
